Fire Alarms
Fire Alarm systems are fitted to respond to a condition of smoke/heat in a building or premises.They are a legal requirement in most comercial or industrial buildings.
Control Panel
The Fire Alarm is a wired system and the control panel is the brain. The panel will receive signals from the devices, callpoints or detectors.The panel will signal a fault by beeping or for a fire warning activate the bells or sounders and beacons.
Heat Detectors
Heat Detectors are mostly found in a kitchen and plant rooms or anywhere there is a risk of heat or fire.
Smoke Detectors
Smoke Detectors are activated by smoke and are fitted through out all areas of the building or premises.
Breakglass Unit
Breakglass Units are fitted where required. In the event of fire a person will break the glass in the unit to activate the fire alarm.
Bells, Sounders and Beacons
Bells, Sounders and Beacons is the warning device to alert occupants to a fire. Bells and Sounders for noise to hear and flashing beacons for visual warnings.
Design
One of the most critical parts of any fire alarm install is the design stage. If the design is not carried out properly you could have a system that does not comply with British Standard and possibly giving out false alarms and the risk to human life if failure to perform as required to.
System Installation
The installation must comply with British Standard and wiring regulations. The onus is on the responsible person to ensure the contractor or installer are competent in both aspects of the install in accordance to the plans, design and specification.Our Designers and Engineers are all qualified to the latest regulations.
Commissioning
The final step of the install. Commissioning is very important. The commissioner will test every device, detector, sounder and beacon and it's performance in various fault scenarios and will pass and certify if working on all accounts.
Maintenance
We at Neutron Electrical Solutions recommend that a system should be maintained by a competent person.
We provide. Maintenace and tests which are required every three months. so as to ensure compliance of your system.
